Privacy Policy

Fuchka Lite (“we”, “us”, or “our”) helps you manage LinkedIn people-search workflows. When you use the Service, you entrust us with personal information. We take that responsibility seriously and process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR where it applies.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please stop using the Service.

We collect personal information that you provide directly, data generated when you use the Service, and limited technical information collected automatically.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and optional profile image. We also store session metadata such as sign-in timestamps, IP address, and browser user agent.

LinkedIn session data. When you use the Chrome extension, it reads LinkedIn cookies from your browser and sends them to our servers, associated with your Fuchka Lite account. We store this session data so our backend can perform LinkedIn actions on your behalf, such as running people searches and sending connection requests you initiate.

Search queries. When you save a LinkedIn people search from the extension or web app, we store the search URL or query parameters, pagination state, and whether a query is active or exhausted.

Prospect profiles. When a search runs, we store LinkedIn profile information returned by the search, such as member ID, name, headline, location, connection degree, profile photo URL, verification status, and records of connection requests sent or attempted on your behalf.

Automatically collected information. When you visit or use the Service, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device characteristics, and usage data. This information helps us maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the Service.

If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google according to your Google account settings, such as your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information only to authenticate you and maintain your Fuchka Lite account. We do not sell or share your Google account data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

The Fuchka Lite Chrome extension is a companion to the web app. It requests permission to read cookies from LinkedIn and to communicate with your Fuchka Lite account.

• Sync your LinkedIn session to your signed-in Fuchka Lite account.
• Send active LinkedIn people-search filter URLs when you choose to save a search.
• Check whether you are signed in to Fuchka Lite in the same browser.

The extension does not store your LinkedIn cookies or prospect data locally in the browser. Data is transmitted to our servers and stored there. You must be signed in to Fuchka Lite in the same browser for synced data to be associated with your account.

If you purchase a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Dodo Payments. We receive billing-related identifiers and subscription status from Dodo; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Payment data is subject to Dodo Payments' own privacy practices.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Authenticate you and maintain your account.
• Store and use your LinkedIn session to run people searches and send connection requests you initiate through the Service.
• Display saved searches and prospect profiles in the web app.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Operate background jobs that run searches and send connection requests on your behalf.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the Service.
• Send service-related communications, such as account or billing notices.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal data on one or more of the following grounds:

• Performance of a contract. To provide the Service you signed up for, including syncing LinkedIn data, running searches, and managing your account.
• Legitimate interests. To secure, maintain, and improve the Service, prevent fraud, and provide support.
• Consent. Where required, such as when you choose to connect Google sign-in or use the Chrome extension to sync LinkedIn data.
• Legal obligations. To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and users.

When you use Fuchka Lite to collect or store LinkedIn prospect profiles, you decide which searches to run and which prospects to store. In that context, you are generally the data controller for the prospect information you collect, and Fuchka Lite acts as a data processor on your behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of prospect data complies with applicable laws, including obtaining any required consents and honoring data subject requests relating to prospects you have collected. We store prospect data securely and use it only to provide the Service to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your prospect lists with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

If a prospect contacts us to request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data, we will take reasonable steps to verify the request and, where appropriate, notify you so you can respond.

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, comply with law, or protect rights and safety. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

• Cloud hosting and database providers that store application data.
• Dodo Payments for checkout, billing, and subscription management.
• Inngest for background job processing.
• Google if you choose Google sign-in.
• LinkedIn when our servers use your stored session to interact with LinkedIn on your behalf.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to investigate, prevent, or address fraud, security issues, or potential violations of our terms or applicable law.

We retain your account data, LinkedIn session, search queries, and prospect records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

When we no longer need personal data for the purposes described in this policy, we will delete it or anonymize it where possible. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period before being removed in the ordinary course of operations.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting mehul@tryfuchka.com. After verifying your request, we will delete or anonymize your account data within 30 days, including saved searches, synced LinkedIn session data, and stored prospect profiles, except where we must retain limited information for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.

You can stop syncing new LinkedIn data at any time by uninstalling the Chrome extension and signing out of Fuchka Lite.

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including HTTPS for communication between the web app, extension, and our servers. LinkedIn session cookies are sensitive credentials; protect access to your Fuchka Lite account accordingly.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us and revoke your LinkedIn session by signing out of LinkedIn or changing your LinkedIn password.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, email mehul@tryfuchka.com. We will respond within 30 days, and we may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

If you are in the European Economic Area and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by email or a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
